Alis Holding’s Agricultural Manager Announces Initial Steps for the Opening of a 20-Hectare Greenhouse at Sarchin Agro-Industrial Company, Hoping for a Quick Launch with Allocated Facilities.

In an interview with the public relations department of Alis Holding, Hamid Ghazaqi stated that this greenhouse will be built using the latest global technologies. The primary goal of its opening is to complete the production chain, especially for the tomatoes needed by Sarchin Agro-Industrial.

He added: “Based on the planning done so far, this greenhouse will have a semi-structure design, and cultivation will be carried out using the hydroponic method.”

Alis Holding’s agricultural manager noted that the necessary infrastructure for establishing this greenhouse, such as water, electricity, and piped gas, has been provided. He highlighted that 500 billion IRR has already been spent on this greenhouse, and bank facilities allocated for the development of greenhouse cultivation will be used to complete it.

Ghazaqi emphasized that the total greenhouse cultivation area in Khorasan Razavi province is about 400 hectares. He noted: “The greenhouse set to open in the Sarchin complex is unique in Khorasan Razavi province, particularly in the Chenaran region.”

Stressing that job creation is one of the core principles of development at Alis Holding, he stated: “Completing this project will create 200 jobs in the underprivileged area of Chenaran county.”

The agricultural manager of Alis Holding announced that, in addition to tomatoes, plans are in place to produce cut flowers in this complex. He predicted that the tomato production in this greenhouse would be between 400 to 450 tons per hectare, with the capability for two crops per year.

Ghazaqi added: “The harvested tomatoes will be used for producing tomato paste, and in later development phases, sauces and canned products at the Sarchin complex. Plans are also in place for exporting the surplus.”
